Jet Orientation Courses
The Jetlinx MCC course is conducted on Jet aircraft
only so by definition, you will be gaining Jet orientation experience
since the simulator is operated as though it were the real aircraft to
set of SOP's relevant to a virtual airline.
There are no syllabus requirements for Jet Orientation, neither is it a
course required for licensing or type rating. A JOC is not
sanctioned , monitored or required by the CAA although you may find that
a prospective employer would like you to have completed some form of
LOFT or JOC training. |
On completion of the Jetlinx MCC course, you will
have received an element of Jet Orientation Training by virtue of flying
a Level D - Full Flight ZFT simulator although a few aspects of
desirable training such as AWOPS, TCAS, EGPWS etc
will not have been formally taught. Following the Jetlinx MCC
course, we can if you wish upgrade the jet orientation already received
by flying a jet sim to cover the above aspects along with some others
we as current airline pilots would feel as a suitable level for a full
JOC.
Every case is different since there is no
central industry syllabus for a JOC
Pilots who have completed their
MCC on a non jet sim and wish to discuss JOC should contact us to
discuss the required training
